About the Owners

Life Beyond Pottery:

Brandon is a full-time fabricator for Sign-a-Rama. Building all kinds of signs for businesses around the Cincinnati area. Although any time he is not at work he is doing many of his hobbies from pottery, Blacksmithing, building out Schoolies, being in the outdoors, and being a great husband for his lovely wife Mackenzie. Mackenzie studied Pharmacy at the University of Findlay in Ohio, and is currently practicing as a clinical pharmacist for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Mackenzie loves reading, front porch sitting, and is always ready for an adventure exploring someplace or something new.

Fun Facts:

  1. Brandon took his first pottery class in the Fall of 2018 at Queen City Clay in Cincinnati, OH. During that class he made his first mug and gave it to Mackenzie as a Christmas gift.

  2. Mackenzie loves to travel, so they make an effort to buy a mug from a local potter during every vacation. Ask them about the time they got stranded on the side of the road in St. John after hunting down a pottery studio!

  3. Brandon’s first ever craft shows were in the fall of 2019, and shortly after his pieces were sold at Whiskey City Sweet Retreat (the current location of Funny Farm Coffee Co.) in Lawrenceburg, IN. Now, you can occasionally find his pottery at the Back Alley Mercantile in Lawrenceburg, IN and Candles at Colonel’s Creamery in Florence, KY.

  4. It is Brandon and Mackenzie’s dream to have a full time, brick and mortar, pottery studio one day, but until then every piece is made in their home.
